Our First Stop

While we were nearing the end of quarantine, I joined a Wisconsin Camping group on Facebook and heard about Indian Shores being a favorite camping spot near St. Germain. The manager quickly responded to my questions, and man are we happy he did - this place is incredible! It’s on beautiful Lake Tomahawk, and even though we have a partial lake view, it’s still awesome to wake up to see the lake.

Not only is there the beach, but they also offer a spotless pool the kids love, free games like mini-golf, shuffleboard, tennis, and so much more. There hasn’t been a moment the kids have been bored.

It’s a fairly big park, and after we have dinner, we take a nice long bike ride to check the different sections out. There is a mix of full-time and rental sites available. It’s always fun to see everyone’s setup.

We have spent lots of time at the beach and evenings by a fire - it truly is a terrific start to our summer adventure. We plan to do so much while we're in the Minocqua/Woodruff area, so get ready for more blogs on the fun places we'll visit.
