Celebrating the Kiddo’s Birthdays

We decided to do a small celebration before we left on our adventure to Northern Wisconsin. We had a camping party at Chain O’Lakes State Park for Hazel who is turning 8 and Gavin who will be 3. Our kids are 5 years and 5 days apart, there was a little hesitation to have a joint birthday party…again, but everyone had a blast!

It’s cake time!

All the kiddos getting ready to sing Happy Birthday!

Mother nature threw us a curveball, and since there are no beaches or pools at the campground, we improvised with water gun fights and balloons. We ordered pizza from Antioch Pizza, the cakes from Lovin Oven Cakery, and lots of water to make things easy. Check out these beautiful cakes!

A Grogu celebration for Hazel!

This cake was amazing, it had whip cream frosting, chocolate cake and fresh strawberries for the filling.

A Cars frenzy for Gavin!

A perfect cake for Gavin, it was chocolate buttercream frosting, chocolate cake and chocolate fudge filling. Perfect for a chocolate loving kid, the only thing was the icing for the road definitely turned everyone’s mouth a crazy color.

As the evening started to hit, the weather was perfect for campfire smores and a movie with friends. This little celebration was a great way to say see you soon to the kiddo's friends.
